Offered for sale:

A gently used 18th Century style Cutlass (Short Sword). Often refered to as a "Hanger" this style of sword was very popular with Seamen, Pirates, Sea Captains, etc.. due to its ease of use in confined spaces (Shipboard). Perfect for reenactors.

Used during the late 17th and thru the 18th century.

This copy is 30" in total length with a 24" blade, solid Brass Handgrip/knuckle guard and has a Leather Scabbard with brass throat and tip.

The blade has not been sharpened but the tip is, I would not use this as a toy.
