This is a G98M that was brought back by a veteran in the 100th Infantry regiment. I can provide the historical data, or you can do your own research to verify. I don't have papers, but I traced it mainly due the veteran stamping his name on both sides of the gun.

Besides that, this is a gorgeous gun with a pre-war receiver. It is a shooter and also a cool piece to pull out. It is over 100 years old, which is cool in it of itself!

I've cleaned it and the bore is great, and you can verify when you see it if you're so inclined.
