Classic pre-war Savage Model 99 lever action chambered in .250-3000 caliber. According to the serial number (269716) this rifle left the factory in 1929. 

It comes paired with a vintage, period-correct steel0tube Weaver K4 60-B scope. Optics on the scope are remarkably clear and the crosshairs are sharp. Original owner did drill and tap the receiver top to mount the scope bases. 

Mechanically, it functions exactly as it should. The lever action is smooth and the wood and bluing show just a little normal honest wear for a rifle nearing its 100th birthday.
