Well, I did not get an elk tag for this year. My plan was to go back to 7Mag and start getting more time in chasing deer after this upcoming season anyway. So here we are:

-Bergara HMR with a 26" barrel in 300 Win Mag. 5/8-24 threads for direct-threading a suppressor (I recommend the Omega 300 with anchor brake from SiCo).

-Vortex Viper PST 5-25x FFP glass in a Seekins precision set of rings and picatinny base.

Only about 200 total rounds on this action between zeroing, hunting, and some light pre-season shooting. If you've been looking take that step up from that big box store .308, this is the one for you.
