I apologize, but wanted to get this message out as it cannot just be happening to me.  I have recently posted this beautiful pistol a few times at this site.  Nearly every person that inquires has been a fraud, scammer or troll.  Lying about being an AZ resident, lying about their age, and most recently making appointments to conclude the sale and then just ghosting. 

Since I only had a few pistols left to sell as I unwind my training classes, you can imagine the frustration.  Because I have sold a few items in the past 3-4- years, people knew that what I sell is typically like new.  So, it is not unusual for me to get emails weekly asking if I had other items to sell.  THis Colt was the last one of consequence.  Being stood up again today...now twice...I called a dealer friend and sold everything to them except a house/carry gun.

I appreciate the management of this site, and understand they cannot monitor "who" responds to any posting.  I am certain that the miscreants are only a very small number of people here.  But, it seems I found them all.

In any event, I wish everyone well and just be cautious on any sale posting.
