French Charleville Musket Estimate year 1766 or earlier. Modified see description:

Note was modified from flink lock to cap lock duing the 1800s . Then modified to a bird hunting fowler during the 1800s. Stock was shortened and barrel is shortened by a few inches. Wood engraved on underside and has unique brass plate on the side. Comes with orignal wood ramrod under barrel. Truely a unique one of a kind piece.  See images. These are actual images. Although it is inert. The cocking mechanism still pulls back, locks as it should and clicks forward(dry fires) when trigger is pulled.

No trades. I have no other items included or for sale. This musket does not fire. It is rendered inert. Please be advised to not attempt to load, discharge, fire or use this musket in any way other than to display it. The seller is not responsible for use by the buyer beyond display purposes. It other words it will not work and would be unsafe to attempt to use other than to use as a display piece. Serious buyers only.
