Full Description
This LC Smith in 16 gauge is a Field Featherweight, weighing about 6 lb 10 oz. It appears to be all original and is in good condition. It is well used but also properly maintained. The bores are shiny with no pitting, the barrel retains most of the blue, there is a smidge of case colors remaining (about 10-20%), the stock is in good shape, the grip cap is chipped, the butt plate has a very small chip. The serial number puts the date of manufacture at 1930 according to the tables on the LC Smith Collectors website. The chokes are presumably Mod and Full. 28 inch barrels with a brass bead. LOP 14 1/8 inches. I have owned this shotgun for over twenty years and it has been a great quail and dove gun, now it is time for someone else to enjoy it. I am located in Central Phoenix near McDowell/Central Ave. More photos can be sent on request.
