1978 Colt Detective Special chambered in 38 Special with a 2 inch barrel and factory nickel finish.

It has remained untouched as Wilson kept it in the original box since new as did my consignee. This is a no excuses collector grade gun. You can still see the factory test fire on every other cylinder. The original nickel finish remains brilliant and mirror like throughout. In my opinion there is no such thing as a perfect gun as any of them will have a few scattered hairs. That being said I have seen others that are as good as this but I have never seen one better. Overall the finish rates a very strong 99% +. The factory grips are flawless with sharp checkers throughout. This 48 year-old package can not be upgraded in any way.
