Selling my 22 inch SA M1A rifle, "loaded" version.  Which is basically added national match barrel, trigger, front and rear sights.  

I've only shot about....250ish rounds with it.  So, pretty lightly used, and very accurate.

So why am I selling it roughly $400 under retail?  

Well, firstly the rear sight elevation and windage knobs have lost their clicks mysteriously after my last shooting session.  I have tried fixing the problem myself; spent several days researching a solution and couldn't find one.  So, either you are more savvy than me and can fix it, or you will need to replace some part or the whole rear sight assembly.  

Second, I've had many failure to fire malfunctions.  This was using Winchester white box fmj rounds.  I'm not sure if quality control has suffered at Winchester or whether the firing pin was being impeded in some way.  I field stripped the bolt and cleaned it meticulously afterwards.  This was in 2023, and that was the last time I fired the rifle for that matter.  My honest guess is that I had a serious batch of horrible post-covid QC on the Winchester ammo.  I have attached a picture showing good contact on the primers of those same several rounds/duds...  I personally don't think that the bolt or the firing pin are to blame, but since it's a factor of uncertainty, I adjusted this into the price.

I am selling this rifle with the 10 round Check-mate magazine it came with, and a m1907 leather sling.

I also have six 20-round Check-mate magazines, and a TNVC riser stock pouch, Gen. 2 MOD 0 which can hold one magazine.  I wasn't planning on selling these additional items, but if you want them, we can work out a price.

$1400 will be my selling point, but the price is negotiable.

We will meet in a public place, preferably outside a gun/pawn shop, and the main burden of the miles will be on you. I don't like driving long distances for tire kickers or no show-ers.
