Design and construction: The KSG uses two independent tubular magazines selected by a manual lever positioned behind the trigger guard. Loading and ejection occur through a downward-facing port, supporting operation from either shoulder. The platform incorporates an 18.5-inch cylinder-bore barrel, upper and lower Picatinny-style rails, a rubber butt pad, sling loops, a steel receiver, and glass-reinforced nylon grip and stock components. Two takedown pins secure the grip and stock assembly and may be retained in recesses in the grip when removed.
