Full Description
Perhaps the most unique-looking rifle Remington ever made. The triangular barrelled VTR variant of the M700. Big Green turned these out from 2008 til 2012. I'm actually starting to see these occasionally show up in Hollywood movies and TV shows simply because they look different, which the audience equates with "tacticool". The idea was that triangular barrel profiles would be stiffer than round ones or even fluted ones in the same weight, producing better accuracy. The scope is adjustable between 6x magnification up to 24x, so you can see those smaller animals waaaaaay up out there.
This one had a modification to use removable magazines with a Legacy Sports conversion unit. Unfortunately, the magazine is missing, so the price is lower than it would be, in recognition that finding a replacement mag or similar solution will cost a little bit. I have been able to find an entire conversion unit with magazine online for $75. I just haven't bothered to do all that yet.
