Full Description
A good ol' classic deer and elk rifle. Old school M77 made before the paranoid lawyers demanded alterations. Has the original preferred tang safety. This transition model is within the first few thousand, when Ruger started making their own barrels in house rather than buying them from outside vendors. This one was made with the old school button-cut rifling, before they transitioned to making them all by hammer-forging as they do now. The scope is variable between 6x magnification all the way out to 24x, so you can see those antelope waaaaaay out there.
.270 is the perfect open country cartridge, capable of long shots, yet still packs enough punch for big game like elk. Capable of pretty much every animal on the continent.
