The Savage Model 720 is a classic long-recoil, semi-automatic shotgun produced by Savage Arms. It was heavily inspired by the Browning Auto-5, as Savage Arms had a licensing agreement to use Browning’s design. This example is chambered in 16-gauge and hosts a 26" barrel.

I have fired this shotgun once in my ownership and was unable to reliably cycle the action with my selection of ammo. I under stand that A5/long-recoil shotguns can be tuned or adjusted to different ammo types, something I have yet to try. Posting to make room in the safe.
