Full Description
Model 41 Smith & Wesson. It has the very sought after 7 3/8" barrel + muzzel brake. According to SN records it was mfg'd in 1978, the last year they had a cocked indicator on the back of the slide. It has been shot, but probably has been a safe queen most of it's life. (Certainly in my case.)
These are an Olympics ready .22LR. The long sight radius and match grade trigger, along with quality all steel manufactiuring make it a very accurate pistol, They were introduced in 1957 and discontinued after almost 70 years. I lusted after one these for about 20 years and flnally found this one about 20 yrs ago. Age and eye sight have me regretfully selling it.
This pistol is absolutely beautiful. As they say, "They don't make them like they used to". You won't be disappointed..
