This Springfield Armory M1A (semi-auto version of the U.S. M14) dates from late 2003 production, when SA was still using surplus U.S. gov't made parts. In fact, the chrome-lined barrel bears a date code of 1965. The wood in fact has the selector lever relief cut. The top stock ferrule is G.I. surplus fiberglass. Cleaning kit in the butt trap. Front sight blade has a green hi-viz fiber. Aside from the luminous front sight blade, this is as nice a clean and new condition example you can get of a rack-grade standard issue U.S. M14 without actually being a machinegun.
