Ive had it so long couldn't find much information now. If I remember correctly, this was an officers Military issued (Vintage) Smith & Wesson Pre27 1950’s 357 factory nickel revolver, carried in the late 50's by the officer. I had a picture of the service member with it but can't locate it now (if found it will be included) please see photos for condition, factory nickel plate chipping. I planned on getting it replated and was told not to "ruin it" and to sell as is to keep original.
