Full Description
I purchased a Savage MK II FV SR, 22 caliber bolt rifle.
It turns out to be great shooter with both aguila and CCI std velocity ammo. It shot well with original stock. However it was flimsy, too flexible and way low at the comb if scope is mounted.
So I bought the Boyds thumbhole varmint stock. After mounting the barreled reciever into the boyds stock and using DIP bottom metal was able to cut my patern size by approximately 40% @ 50 yds. See attached target.
The stock is in excellent shape. I am selling for $100 which is half of what Boyds is asking. it fits savage, bolt action rimfires (.17 & .22 LR) with "E" deries recivers.
