I bought this used. The factory QD mount wouldn’t stay tight so I modified an ADM mount to fit it. I have used it and it had a pretty significant zero shift (roughly 2 mils vertical and horizontal) but it was repeatable and zeroable on the scope.
This zero shift was reported with the original mount before I had bought it so I don’t think the zero shift issue is the mount.
The lens assemblies wiggled a little and I was finally able to get someone on the phone and send it into ATN. I got it back with a blank invoice but it looked like they had tightened up the lens assemblies and had glued over the screw heads around the lens assemblies.
I stuck a rifle in a vise and zeroed a laser to the reticle at a roughly 50 yard target as a reference. I mounted the clip on and the reticle had shifted in relation to the laser. That tells me the zero shift is still there. I did this last test in the day with the daylight filter on. I don’t know if that matters.
So what I have is a gen 3 clip-on with a repeatable zero shift that just had some factory “refurbishing” of some type done.
