This is a great display item that we used to show on our fireplace mantle. Downsizing eliminated the mantle, so no more room for this.
Authentic cow horn that consists of a powder holder, stopper, leather carry strap and what makes this piece particularly important and very neat is the genuine Cow Horn Pan Charger - that is most often not part of common or ordinary kits. Check it out.
Please review the photos carefully. There is a hairline crack at the bottom of the powder horn. It in no way affects the horn’s purpose. This is great display piece or may actually be used by the black powder aficionado. In any event, a fun and interesting look into the past.
