It is the control unit of a radiation detection installation seen in cold war bunkers and also usable as a man portable dosimeter.

It is one of the first if not the first digital radiation dosimeter; utilising a high purity germanium probe. It is the definition of bombproof as this thing is solid like a rock and weighs over 5lbs. It also takes 5 standard AA batteries inside the overly-engineered battery cap on the left side of the device in true German fashion.

Comes with original NVA issued manual in German / Russian detailing the operation and installation procedures as a bunker mounted control unit or handheld unit. Also comes with original factory certification in matching serial.

Don't even think about shipping it because that's not happening.
