Full Description
This is an Native American Indian Dance Stick/Rattle. Used by Shamans and dancers for rituals and/or special ceremonies. It is formed from a genuine animal horn with buckskin leather. It has light feathers with attached beads.
The shaft is a leather wrapped handle covered with what is likely rabbit or coyote fur. The rattles are held in place with what appears to be leather and sinew of some type. A very nice, attractive and genuine Indian made article. The horn is curved and approximately 7” long. The overall length is approximately 10” in length.
The stick is covered with buckskin, feathers and beads. It is wrapped with what appears to be either rabbit or coyote fur. An unknown marking has been photographed (makers mark?). A stunning and special piece of American Indian art. Makes a great display.
We downsized dramatically, so no longer room for these displays. These pieces are not the cheap commercial items. Check out the other artifacts I have for sale and make a great multi item deal.
Local Phoenix area sales only. Cash sales only.
