Full Description
My 6th listing is for two German starter pistols. Both were in working condition before I started taking them apart for cleaning and inspection. Being that I am selling them, I will let the buyer finish working on them and put them back together.
The first is a PERFECTA used antique collectible non-cartridge-firing Blank starters/or/flare pistol. It was typically used as an 'alarm starter' pistol for races but also shoots signal flares. I have a few included in this listing (see the Picts). The blanks are loaded into the tubular magazine (you can see the domed follower) which is inserted into the grip. Pulling the trigger manually feeds, fires, and ejects the spent blank. Gas is exhausted through the circular vent atop the slide. Subsequent shots eject the blank through the rectangular port behind the vent.
the second is a an 8mm blank cartridge Starter Pistol, "Reck" brand P10, made in West Germany, usually made of zinc alloy.
No boxes or manuals included. You can find them on-line if wanted. The Perfecta has a low serial # and manufactured in the late 1950s. The Reck in 1968.
