Early Sears/J.C. Higgins 101.7 311A side-by-side 12 gauge, built by Savage/Stevens. Original case-hardened finish on the receiver and internal parts.

The gun has Wolff Performance springs installed, including the hammer, sear, and top-lever springs. Making handling and opening of the gun significantly easier. No serial number, consistent with these early models. This model is most likely produced early 1950. I will include the original springs as well.

The stock has an older repair that is solid but the stock is cosmetically rough, so I’ve priced it accordingly.

A genuine vintage Sears-era American shotgun with plenty of character. Great for someone looking for an honest old 311A, collector piece, or SASS shooter.
