Full Description
Selling a very nice and matching Winchester Model 70 Coyote chambered in 223 WSM, with a 24-inch heavy barrel and laminate stock. Factory-configured rifle, very good shape. I'm selling this rifle in an effort to get rid of firearms that haven't left the safe in many years. This one has been tucked at the back for at least 10 years, completely unused. Originally this was a rifle put together so my dad could explore the art of predator calling, but he far preferred running pointing dogs on pheasants. I would guess the number of rounds fired through this rifle is less than 100. If it was ever taken into the field, I don't recall hearing about it, so I believe all shots were fired at a range upon which the rifle was cleaned. One point of irritation is I'm not sure what was used as thread lock for the screws that secured the scope bases, but there's some residue remaining. This can be seen in the pictures. This shouldn't have any effect on the performance of the rifle.
I also have Redding dies, RCBS dies, and a few hundred rounds of 223 WSSM brass that I'll be listing separately. I have enough other projects that I've decided to sell off everything associated with this caliber.
Feel free to reach out with any questions you might have.
